It has been a whole month since I've had time (or energy) to update Jonah's blog. Sorry everybody!! We have finally settled into some kind of routine. Which is awesome because now we have to change it. Jonah had his first "solid food" on Wednesday (03/10). It was rice cereal with a little bit of formula for flavor...eww. He seemed to like it. He also enjoys baby mum-mums, which is a rice cracker. He can almost hold it and eat it by himself. He hasn't quite gotten the idea of bringing it to his mouth. Instead, he brings his mouth to his hands. I'm sure he'll get it eventually.
He has grown so much! At his last doctor appointment he weighed in at a little over 16lbs. It's hard to believe he is that big! He has started talking like crazy and has mastered the art of "raspberries". It's so funny! I'm not even sure where he learned it. I think he was trying to blow spit bubbles and he did it by accident.
Jonah has started to really recognize Nick and I. He gets upset if one of us leaves the room. Especially Nick. He loves his Daddy. Nick has taught Jonah to give him "five". He probably doesn't even know what he's doing, but it's cute.

He still thinks his Grandpa is hilarious!
Cousin Emma likes to help Baby JoJo hold his bottle.
Lately he has tried holding it all by himself.
He loves playing at Uncle Mike and Aunt Michelle's house.

ReplyDeleteWe've got pretty cute kids! And I think Jonah's giving Brooklyn a run for her money...his head is definitely bigger and Brooklyn was a little over 16 lbs at 6 months...and Kami was thrilled to see her cousin Zonah on the "beemin!" That's computer in Kami-speak.
